DescriptionThis is an amazing mixed media piece which was completed by Zu Orzu in her own inimitable style (which appears to be not only ever evolving but also appears to be on a constantly upward trajectory in terms of imagination combined with accomplished execution). For this piece, she has taken an oft drawn as well as painted character and invested her with an ethereal quality. It was also the DC official giclee for the Lake Como Comic Art Festival. It is just an awesome piece of artwork from a truly gifted artist who has done covers for every major comics company and who has worked with other famous artists as well (including David Mack). I truly believe that the sky is the limit for this particular artist.Social/Sharing |

Zu's characters REALLY draw you in. She is definitely not afraid of eye contact! Congrats!

Thanks again, Mikail! As always, you are spot on with a very perceptive observation.

When short of words, time to simply fall back on the old standbys. Baller.

Many thanks, Jeffrey! I do agree that it is difficult to describe this piece in words - hence, my relatively short description.

Inspired painting! It's like Wonder Woman emerges from the smoke to bring light and hope to humanity!

I see she used some pastels in this, which is really great as I love the look of pastel paintings. But even more impressive that she mixed it in with other media. I've seen some nice pieces by this artist, but I have to admit that this has to be the nicest one I've ever seen. Kudos!

Many thanks, Rubén! Yes, it is an impressive array of media that has been used by this artist - all to great effect.
