Description

Managed to snag another one of Omar's hard-to-get headsketches, so I had to ask for my first Psylocke piece! I love me some Chun-Li - and she's VERY well represented in my art collection - but my absolute favorite character has always been Psylocke, specifically her 90s Jim Lee incarnation with her Elektra-esque "ninja" outfit.

I actually wanted to start my collection with Psylocke, but a lot of my commissions are head/bust shots, so I went with Chun-Li because she has a more interesting waist-up appearance, particularly with her hair buns, cheongsam/qipao, and spiked bracelets. I always thought Psylocke looked bad-ass from a full-length perspective with her psychic knife and the tape/bands on her arms and legs, but I worried that her waist-up appearance would be fairly nondescript.

Of course Omar proved me wrong, capturing just the right amount of sneer in her expression along with her gorgeous purple hair. Can't wait to add more Psylocke pieces to my collection!

The colors are fantastic! From the bold purples and blues to the finer shades of skin tone, there is a nice range of control finely modulated for impeccable results.
