DescriptionCarl Barks "In the Cave of Ali Baba" Signed Limited Edition Lithograph Print #229/595 (Walt Disney, 1997). While treasure-hunter Uncle Scrooge tries on the ancient Persian crown of Ali Baba, one of Donald Duck's nephews see an unsettling sight, in this great long-sold out lithograph. "In the Cave of Ali Baba" was the twenty-third signed and numbered Carl Barks print, with an image of an Barks painting from 1973; it was inspired by the lead story from Uncle Scrooge #37 (Dell, 1961). The print utilizes Opalesque Keramique art paper in fifteen colors, for an image area of 20" x 16". The print has been hand-signed by the legendary Duck Man Carl Barks. It measures 25" x 21.5" and has a 20" x 16" image area. There is soft creasing and handling wear. Comes with COA and is in Very Good condition.Social/Sharing |
