DescriptionHe's right you know. You can see bullets cutting through the air sometiems. Sometimes. Lots of variables have to lineup for it to happen though.I like trains. I like knives. This is a beautifully illustrated page, blending Mutti's linework with a gorgeous watercolor-like wash. You can feel a sense of quiet tension running beneath the surface. The train imagery adds to the theme of transition, movement, and perhaps an impending farewell. The subtle character moments, like the close up on the knife and the necklace, seem to hint at a deeper personal significance. Have you read this yet?

I am in the middle of it. I'm worried the more I read the more I will want to buy the other 75 pages from him LOL

I like that this flashback doesn't need to use rounded corners and Mutti shifts to use contrast with the bright and hopeful colors.
