T-Rex and F14? Check! It may not be the Calvin & Hobbes version, but it's a solid stand-in!

This book was a lot of fun, a complete change of direction from the first issue - this is the point it goes off the rails:)

I love the first panel. A true comicbook artist at their peak. The contrails lead your eye into the page, framing the T-Rex as it pulls you through to the jet leaving the panel. The speed lines in the margins help pull you in to the action while the blacks and the backgrounds focus you on the right action. Even the final dustoff cloud of white smoke balances perfectly to lead the eye into the high contrast black below. Awesome panel. Amazing art.

Months ago Sean posted the WIP pencils on Twitter, so they're included in the images below.

The top panel was also used on the back cover.
