OK, I've been wanting a Gene Day Master of Kung Fu page for a while. I'm not really crazy about the Shang-Chi in this one, but the layouts are masterful. The first four panels make this page for me.

The top panels are great! The lean Shang Chi is a product of the 70's, as athletic builds showed more flexibility as a strength. The inking by Day is magnificent throughout as if Sternako himself designed the page!

Great to see more Gene Day Master of Kung Fu pages. His manipulation and use of black is phenomenal.

Forget the figures. The Chiaroscuro is where it's at with this classic page.
