DescriptionFrom Galaxycon Columbus. Always a pleasure to talk to Howard, and just listen to what he has to say. There is a lot to be learned from this man, and he has a wonderful ability to get people to engage at his table. I feel like that is becoming somewhat of a lost art itself. This page was at the table and could not pass it up. Very happy to add a Chaykin to the collection.I might just switch to collecting all Byrne, Chaykin, and Quitely from now on :) Social/Sharing |

Cool one! I had him sign a few Deadpool variants he did but no art from him at the moment, congrats on a fun and positive interaction as well!

Chaykin's classic hero face works well for Frank Castle. Can't go wrong with a focus on his Howard's either. Such a great career as a writer and artist and still one of the more thoughtful and opinionated creators around. Loved every times I've heard him speak live. We could use another 10-20 creators like him, that's for sure.

Isn't that the truth, he sincerely is a pleasure to hear speak. I think he's really funny as well. Thanks Mark!

The range of expressions are Chaykin's signature on the art! The transition from each panel is strong.

Wow! I remember this page and the storyline it comes from. Garth Ennis was the writer with Howard as the artist. In the story, the Punisher talks about a recurring dream he has -- one where his family didn't die in Central Park on that day and his kids grew up and had families of their own. It's a great sequence and this is a wonderful page from that sequence. And I agree about Howard; he's one of my favorite people to talk with at a con -- you never know whether he will share an off-color joke or sing a Broadway tune. Congratulations on this great page, pal!

One of my most memorable con events was simply hanging out at Howard's booth, listening to him telling stories! He's such a funny guy. Great page!
