DescriptionBy late 2022, I had achieved most of my "must-have" goals with one outstanding... a UXM page from JRJr's first run.In December, several showed up on ComicLink and I was all in on getting one and I managed to snag the first one up. Great example featuring an X-Men battle scene and a great early image from Rachel's arrival in the past. Perfect to satisfy the checklist... However, I'll post how "all in" I was later on this year. Thrilled to have checked off all of the Must Haves with this win. Social/Sharing |

Huge congrats checking one the remaining biggies off the list, Dan! Lots of X folk in that first panel. Congrats!

Beautiful first panel! It's like a recap panel from 181. The TV store and the gated storefronts pulls off the early 80's look of the harsh streets of the big city. You even get a Senator Kelly reference in this page to show what kind of world Rachel finds herself in and you may even feel bad for her.

Indeed a great page, let's not forget Green's inks. Love the zip-a-tone in the last panel!

One of my first--and favorite--issues of UXM that I bought off the spinner rack at 7-11 as a kid. I must have reread this issue a hundred times--great stuff, congrats!

Fabulous Uncanny X-Men page by John Romita Jr. and Dan Green! I love the fact that the page starts with a large panel featuring the X-Men battling a dragon and then pulls back to reveal it's a news story on a television in a store that's locked up for the night. What a charming reveal! Great work by JrJr and Green. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
