Description

Joe is my favorite comic artist without question, and I've always hoped I could find a Battle Chasers page (or cover) to add to my collection. But with so few pages out there (only 9 issues) and the price of Joe's art skyrocketing (deservedly so, but unfortunately for my collecting habits), it seemed like it might not happen for a while. So I really lucked out with this page. No action or battle scenes or even the full cast, but that third panel with Gully and Calibretto warms (and breaks) my heart every time. And to top it off, it's got inks by Tim Townsend from the one issue that he worked on. So yeah, this one's a keeper.

This one nicely captures the time in which I most enjoyed my weekly visits to the comic shop. I miss this book and those days. Congratulations on a great piece.

Fabulous Battle Chasers page! Joe Madureira's work on this title really cemented his reputation for excellence! Tim Townend's inks only add to how terrific this page is! Congrats!
