Description

I've been meaning to get Tom to add to my Valkyrie & The Lady Liberators faux cover theme for a year or two now. As soon as I found out he'd be attending this year's Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, I contacted his rep Byron Hamm in hopes of setting one up. Luckily, he had time to take on a few commissions before the show. In the past few conventions, I'd already gotten single character commissions of Valkyrie, Gamora, Squirrel Girl and Harley Quinn from him. So, Medusa was a lock for one of the other characters in this piece. And, as I try to rotate other characters in, I settled on Elsa Bloodstone to be the latest character added to the team. She briefly teamed up with Valkyrie in the short Fearless Defenders series, so its also a team-up that could readily happen in the comics again. Ecstatic with how this piece turned out, thanks Byron and Tom!
