Description

Pen and ink on 11 x 17" bristol board. A great action page from X-Files issue 1, signed by and purchased directly from the artist, shortly after the X-Files TV show became a hit and Topps began producing the first comic series. At the time, it was easier for me to find and purchase this page than it was to find a copy of the comic! Mr. Adlard was wonderfully humble and seemed surprised someone wanted to buy his work. That was a LONG time before the Walking Dead...

Completely agree-- will always love this page. The paste-ups have aged a bit since this scan was made over 20 years ago, but it still looks great.
