Description

I saw this fantastic sketch that John Buscema did of the Hulk, and it sparked an idea for a Hulk battle scene where the Hulk battles the Abomination in Mephisto's realm. After seeing the super-talented Pablo Marcos work on the UK Hulk covers, I reached out to him. I told him what I had in mind and sent him a layout using various art from John Buscema Hulk sketch, and a Sal Buscema Abomination pose to create the battle scene. Pablo did a fantastic job and was thrilled with the results.

That's a great pose with Hulk rearing back ready to unload! Mephisto is so cool with his hand right over Abomination like he's pulling the strings! Very exprerssive hands all over this and Marcos' hand fills the piece with classic wash tones for that b&w magazine look.
