DescriptionIt's "GOBLIN WEEK" on my CAF!Each day this week I will be posting pieces that feature all kinds of different goblins. There will be green goblins, hobgoblins, demogoblins, and MORE! To start, I am posting two pieces from the Ultimate Spider-Man title. This one is a wonderful DPS from issue #27, with Ultimate Spidey in the clutches of the Ultimate Green Goblin (Norman Osborn). To be honest, it's been a while since I read the issue, and I just don't remember why there is a shark flopping around on the floor, but I hafta admit, it's pretty cool. Social/Sharing |

I loved the redesign of the goblin in usm, stellar example. And the real question is why are there not more sharks in comics???

Great splash! The ultimate version of the Goblin wasn’t one to be messed with! Another nice Spidey get, man!

Come on, I can't possibly be the only one who despises this "Green Goblin"? It's just a naked green demon that you'd expect to see in the background of any story featuring Belasco or Mephisto! It's surpassed in its awfullness only by the movie version. On the other hand, the art here is definitely exquisite. Bagley at his pulse pounding best!

It's true that his face has some sort of grotesque feel to it, but you can also sense how dangerous and deadly he is on that DPS, proof again - did we really need one? - that Bagley is the man and that us fans of him have great tastes. Congrats on that beauty, Paul!!

Wow, Bagley delivers a powerful and detailed battle scene with Spidey in peril plus a bonus shark! Love it!

Peter got tossed through the shark aquarium in issue 26 by the Goblin. Actually there is two. The other one must be flopping around off panel somewhere. I just hope a tornado don't hit. Then we would all be in trouble.

Yeesh - if I sit and study that left-hand page for very long, I find myself gasping for breath! Breathe, Pete, breathe! Man, I hope he gets out of that okay... :) Great spread!

great storytelling! and love the perspective from inside the building seeing all the way to the helicopters outside in the city skyline
