Another dragon for the collection, courtesy of master animator Ward Kimball, one of Disney's "Nine Old Men". The drawing is for the Disney film The Reluctant Dragon (1941), the first feature film to combine live action and animation. The movie features a tour of the Disney Studio, highlighting how animation is done. I remember as a child back in the early 60's watching this film on The Wonderful World of Disney.

Legendary name in animation as one of the nine old men from the foremost animation studio at that time! A Disney classic that you can be sure will be appreciated for generations to come.
