Description

Although the bulk of Sammy Harkham�s Blood of the Virgin is set in 1970s Hollywood and Australia, the book features several flashback interludes. This page is from a harrowing, mostly wordless interlude set in 1942 Budapest featuring the mother of one of the lead characters from the book.

The third panel uses the least linework, but says so much. It reaches up and splits the sky with the dark back smoke.
