This absolutely does belong in Fort Knox! Deodato's pencils and inkwork here are legendary. Heck, his penciled interiors for this series alone were absolutely insane. I've said it once and I'll say it a hundred more times, we art collectors lost out huge when he decided to go digital. Happy you were able to add this beauty!

On a Deodato kick, Mentee, I love it!! And you're right! Just by looking at this amazing Wolverine image, I suddenly found myself suddenly and inexplicably sliced into six pieces! Luckily I have an amazing first aid kit and I'm all better now. So...that's all right then.

This surpasses what the regular cover did in mood and atmosphere with the dramatic lighting. Each fold of the mask, the definition for the musculature, and the sharpness of the claws are expertly defined by Deodato. Those claws and bars of light and shadow cage up Omega Red for the big showdown within the issue!

Dude, one of Deodato's very best and that's saying something! His rendition of Wolverine is way up there IMO when it comes to artists, and KILLER that you've got the trademark Deodato shadow work here. Huge congrats!
