I've been seeing a lot of Mark Bagley pencil only commission lately and it prompt me to hunt down a pencil only page by him. Fortunately, there're a few from his latest Spider-Man run. Here's one from Sinister War in the aftermath of Spider-Man encounter with the Sinister Six and the Savage Six. A nice slow page of Spidey getting back up after a beat down. Mark's pencil lines are so detailed. Every webbing is perfectly drawn. Spider-Man's surprised face on the last panel shows Mark doesn't need a face to draw expressions. The pencil is so light, the scanner couldn't pick everything. Which is a shame you can't see what I see.

Ever since he did those all pencil covers for Ultimate Spider-Man, the pencil option has been an intriguing look for fans to see what Bagley did before his inkers got a hold of them. Its softer look with Spidey more pliable and expressive in the body language, which becomes important when the face is fully masked.

His process is quite intriguing as he left the lines he traced to draw perspective. And yes, he mastered the Spider-Man character for sure. Everytime Spidey shows up, he just looks natural
