I've been a fan of Leinil Yu for a long time. He's one of the modern superstar artist. It's always nice to find some of an artist's early work and see how their styles changed over the years. This Wolverine page from Operation: Zero Tolerance was probably his 4th issue he did for Marvel. You can see how different his style was and yet, you can see traces of his current modern visually striking style. You can see some of his detailed and gritty line work. The 3rd panel is really doing it for me. An X-Men panel by an X-Men legend.

These were great issues and helped springboard Yu into the main title too! Ed's inks make the dark panels quite a feat in design and execution t bring out the desperate look in our heroes.
