Description

16”x20” (frame 21”x26”) Painted in 2005; purchased at IlluXCon in 2014. Vince's first appearance at IlluXCon and the purchase that started a minor obsession. Cover for the hardcover book by Steve Gerlach, Love Lies Dying, published by Bloodletting Press in 2006. Vince custom made the frame. Winner of several awards including the Gold Medal at The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles 45th Annual Illustration Exhibition.

That's amazingly gothic with so much darkness. It is in the contrast of pale and darkness where it stuns.
