DescriptionOne of seven typically detailed brushwork pieces done for the April 7, 1945 edition of Liberty Magazine illustrating the condensed novel, The Emperor's Physician. Godwin knew how important this illustration would be no matter what size it would be printed as it would be alongside powerful religious material.
