What a story title!!! The Ugly Duckling Bandit! The story is actually awesome and the art even better!!! This is page 6 (of 9) of the last Williamson/Frazetta original story in this series.

Bold themes in each panel along with Big "Al" Williamson's signature set the stage in this bold 9-page story. I think you can definitely see Frazetta's hand on Panel 1. I love this page for the way it tells a story. Check out the bottom 3 panels especially! Knocked my socks off!

The landscapes of the bottom 3 panels blend together and also show his progress across the desert. Inventive and full of desperation.

I love it, it's just such beautiful story telling, from the first panel (which I think is a solo Frazetta effort, note the background shade) where Bonaza Bill begins, it does such an awesome job sequencially teling the story. ride to dragging to drag to fatigue to exhaustion to collapse, All in one sequence! I only wish I had the next page which reverses the sequence and continues the story. Definitely Msters of the genre!
