Love Hernandez's landscapes & seascapes. Here's a scene he painted on location at Point Lobos, CA. He was a Production Designer, Art Director, as well as a concept artist at Dreamworks Animation, which is great preparation for fine art if you ask me.

Beautiful plein air from Mike. I just purchased one of his landscapes as well. He really simplifies the forms expertly. Nice choice.
