DescriptionYou got to love this Asterix commission by the great Bill Sienkiewicz.Bill Sienkiewicz did this commission of Asterix after a Frank Frazetta painting (Dark Kingdom). Asterix, for all the folks that are not too familiar with European comic art, is an incredible comic character created by Albert Uderzo. The books are about a small Gauls village that resists the Roman occupation in 50 B.C. The books are full of history combined with fun stories. If you have not read them yet, take my word and get them. They are awesome! Social/Sharing |

This is FANTASTIC!! I enjoyed reading Asterix and Obelix comics we had around the house when I was younger, though they were in German and I mainly looked at the pictures. I even took some shots at drawing Asterix myself, and my mom framed one of them! Haha! Great pick-up, Andy!

oh, man... What a GORGEOUS piece. I literally burst out laughing when the page opened and saw the pose - fantastic piece of work; the best Asterix I've ever seen!
