Wow, what a fantastic, drama filled opening splash! A great, Bronze Age pickup!

Magnificent title splash !! You really feel the dire situation being faced by our favorite webslinger.

This is later work in a long and storied career for Elias! He shows every bit the dynamism needed for 1979 Spider-Man! The opening splash showing the hero in distress is a great hook that dates all the way back to when he started as an artist in the 1940's.

OMG! Now that's a startling image to open a Spectacular Spider-Man story! Spidey falling off a building--What could have made him lose his grip like that? Surprising title splash by Lee Elias and Mike Esposito! Man, I love it when artists find new and different ways to amaze and delight readers. Lee Elias is not one of the first artists you think of when you think of Spider-man, but he was one of a long line of talented artists who contributed to the legend that is Spider-Man. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
