Description

Kent Williams Dawn of the Serpent Painting Original Art (1983). In 1983, Kent Williams painted Dawn of the Serpent as part of the Society of Illustrators Annual Scholarship Competition. It was one of 186 works selected out of 3,700 entries. It was then shown in several exhibitions related to the competition. Kent Williams is a renowned painter in the comic book world as well, having work published in Epic Illustrated, Heavy Metal Magazine, Eclipse Monthly, and Moonshadow. However, he may be best known to most fans for his work in Hellblazer and the Havok and Wolverine: Meltdown mini-series. This painting is oil on canvas board with an image area of 15" x 21". It is framed and in Excellent condition.

Tha hook dagger is great! It fits in with the motif of the curves and coiling of the serpent.
