DescriptionWell this brings back my childhood. This came out near the end of my comic book collecting days (late 80s). Amongst all the great art, Byrne was one of my favs. I loved his Alpha Flight and Fantastic Four runs. What stood out is the way he drew Doctor Doom and She-Hulk. Obviously, when this came up I had to make a run at it. So fortunate to add this page to my collection.Social/Sharing |

Pretty sure this page was in my Wanted gallery for a number of years - never managed to wrangle it into my collection. Kudos to you on the pickup!! Great page!!

Have always loved this page--such a great encapsulation of what made Byrne's version of Shulkie so wonderful. Great Doc Doom, funny dialogue from She-Hulk acknowledging that she's in a comic, and a *gorgeous* portrayal of the jade heroine in that bottom left panel. Jealous congrats!

This is great Byrne art and storytelling! Glorious shots of Doom's power and glamorous She-Hulk image to set up for the right punch!

It is said that Byrne was already in the doldrums in the late 1980s. Looking at a page like this, it seems to me that I was in top shape.

A Byrne She-Hulk page with her fighting Dr. Doom? What more could you ask for in a She-Hulk page? Congrats on laying claim to this beauty!

Absolutely stunning example of Byrne's Doctor Doom and She-Hulk! Very memorable for me as well. I like how you're building your collection up slowly, Alex. You don't appear to allow yourself to be distracted by squirrels and instead jus tsave your money for the stuff you REALLY want. Hey, slow and steady wins the race, or so goes the old adage!

It gets difficult at times. You can't have everything, but you could be more selective. Thats how I go about with my spending habits. This one particular, I was going all in. Luckily, it went below my expectations. Appreciate the comments and great show by the way!

Well as I say, you're doing a great job with it. Thanks for the compliment on my show, I appreciate you dropping in when you can. The only drawback to your "slow and steady wins the race" approach is that it'll be quite some time before we can do a Show & Tell together! You're getting there, though, and it's going to be a nice showing of pages when it DOES happen. I look forward to it!
