DescriptionCover painting by Johnny Bruck for Terra magazine, 1961 (and used again for the cover of Perry Rhodan #640, 1973). Bruck was heavily influenced by Valigursky and Emsh (among others). The robot in this piece is VERY similar to Valigursky robot designs. Bruck was expected to crank out paintings at such a fast pace he often took cues from other artists to get things rolling. Even so, his pieces are colorful mash-ups and really "out there"!Fun stuff :) Social/Sharing |

Such a sense of hopelessness when you see something of this scale be so menacing and unstoppable.
