Description

The great train robbery is a famous trope of Old West stories. Of course, in this SF/Western mashup (Perry Rhodan 1151, 1983) the train is not attacked by cowboy gangs on horseback... but by flying saucers and spaceships! The train is literally "held up" by some super science as it is lifted off the tracks. I love the contrast of the old world train, men on horseback, and the futuristic space craft.

Lots of drama on the piece too with the people leaping off the train and the exhaust trail of the dogfight above. The golden background adds even more tension like the sky is on fire.
