19" x 23" (or so)

Unsurprisingly, this piece is not signed - or is it? On the painting, under the "copyright" notice at the bottom of "Stellar Stories" it says: "Painted for the Cincinnati Fantasy Group by that Young Master Hannes Bok - Nov. 1949 through Jan. 1950". Amusingly, I own a copy of the 1950 Christmas Card that used this image - it also calls out the Hannes Bok consignment. This is a perfect Bok and contains many of the elements he was well known for.

Bok's illustrations bring us weird and surreal in not just one scene, but another one within the cover of the magazine! Always, the elements are all in geometric harmony with each other no matter what they are.
