DescriptionHere's a cool piece by the macabre artist GAHAN WILSON. This finished 6 x 11" ink and watercolor piece is signed by the artist and was published in the April 1975 issue of National Lampoon. Gahan's art is highly collectible, and has increased in value since his passing in 2019. I was lucky to have been in contact with Mr. Wilson and we wrote to each other through the actual post office....remember that place...letters before emails. He was a kind and generous man. I sent him a copy of my EC HorrorZine and sent me back a caricature of me dressed like Dracula. This image is not for sale, just to enjoy while I brag about knowing the artist through the mail. The color image from National Lampoon is matted and in great shape. It is sold "AS-IS". All sales final.Social/Sharing |
