Description

What a coincidence - even as I was preparing this strip for uploading to my CAF Gallery, there was a flurry of conversation on coffee (in all its various aspects) on Rubén's latest show (which just concluded). I am not a huge Garfield fan although the family (especially the kids) loved the strip when they were growing up. However, I am a bit of a coffee addict so I found this particular strip especially interesting.

Yes, how coincidental that you had to leave the show early, then came back much later only to find us talking about coffee while preparing to post thsis piece in your gallery! Though given the vast array of completely disconnected topics that we often get into on my channel, perhaps it's not SO unlikely for such a thing to happen. A perfect daily for a coffee addict, though, no question about!

Many thanks, Rubén!  This is just demonstrative of how textured and nuanced your show is - which is why there is always a central core of committed participants.

Oh sure, my pleasure. And thank YOU for adding to that nuance on the shows. After all, it's all of us together who make it so enjoyable.

Dear Rubén, as always, you are far, far too kind.  I do agree, though, that the show IS enjoyable because of EVERYONE!

Under the radar Peanuts crossover with the Charlie Brown zig zag!

Many thanks, Marcus, for this rather unusual take on the strip!

Hahaha! "You can suck it out of my sweater."  That Garfield...so thoughtful... it's always "give give give" with him.  My college was a 15 hour bus trip from home, and to entertain myself during those loooong rides, I'd read Garfield comic strip compilations, eat big bags of nacho cheese Doritos and listen to Simon & Garfunkel  tunes on my walkman.  Good times...

Many thanks, Paul!  Those were good times indeed - I think that we grew up too quickly!
