Description

I've been admiring Mahmud Asrar's watercolor work for the last few years, and I'm pleased to add this beauty to my collection. Especially since it's my favorite mutant bloodied in his old costume! This piece has some great nuances--like Logan's mutton chops--and the inking details were not spared in favor of color. Asrar creates a really seamless blend of ink and watercolor, one I hope to see more of in published work.

The piece was auctioned to help rebuild efforts from the earthquake in Turkey, Mahmud's home country.
