Description

Matteo was the first artist I bought a piece from, and I've followed his work closely since his Hulk run. I've watched him work at cons with blinding speed, painting confident ink wash strokes over loose pencils. I love this page of Nora and Victor Fries. The couple's sadness, anger and frustration are wonderfully depicted with rainy ink and detailed silhouettes. No words necessary.

Scalera is great at action but reminds us on this page how good he is at the quieter moments too. The mood and character acting on this page are top notch. Congrats!
