DescriptionDoes anyone draw the modern X-Men jumping forth into action better than Pepe Larraz? Lee? Immonen? I'm continually blown away by his dynamic pages. The amount of care put into each line is staggering, complete with grayscale depth.Of note, this is my first digital Artist Proof and I'm impressed with the quality. I scanned the physical printed page (ironic, I know) which even had blue line "pencils" which were clearly a stylistic choice. It also helps the overall image quality that Pepe's work is textured lusciously so the actual printed page feels substantial. I still vastly prefer traditional art with all it's wonderful imperfections, but I do love this page! Social/Sharing |

Seems like Pepe's X-Men are always jumping out of planes at 200mph. Thanks!

Lorna showing up to the fight with a flat white and expensive shades will never get old for me. Wonderful team shot. Larraz was so good on this book.

That's right she even has them on the cover! Great memory.

This was the money shot page in this issue, and as much as I love Rogue, Lorna really steals the show here. I was too slow and missed out (pesky work stuff), but congrats on getting it! And welcome to the Larraz monoprint club!

Thanks Kin! Oh Lorna, she's a gem. I was too late to nab any splashes from the first issue so I was prepared for this one... Happy to be a part of the club, I'm in good company :)
