Description

I have enough Paul Smith sketches. But when I saw this artwork featuring the leader of the Inhumans, I knew that I needed to get it. Smitty really excels with character poses and this piece shows why. Black Bolt has let loose with his sonic scream, so pity whoever or whatever is on the receiving end of that voice. My further thanks to my good friend, Gerry Turnbull, who did a brilliant job coloring this piece.

A great, great, Marvel character that should definitely get more attention than he does. So nice to see him getting some much deserved love from Smitty.

Beautifully done with the wings all flaired out like we hardly ever see! It must be the reverb! Paul Smith's pose for Black Bolt is dynamic as a Neal Adams one. We get a taste of his power and the emotions behind the Black Bolt scream!

This is awesome! One of the best of Smith's recent character pin-ups that I've seen. Great inking--love the way he handled BB's underarm wings!

Never enough. Great piece with much more action than most of Paul Smith's single-figure art. I can almost hear the scream.
