Description

The prize pick up from Lake Como. Beautiful and very delicate in person. I love the bottom panel and the abstract feeling. Gipi's landscapes and atmospheric shots are so important to the story. Wasn't in my budget but when my wife say this is the one to get I won't argue, and figured it out. Thank you for Francesco for working with me, one of the best dealers out there!

The WWI trench warfare gloom hangs over them with this color palette. That bottom image is haunting with the human figures feeling small and isolated. It is like the humanity was just minimized to be an afterthought in war.

Those are excatly the main themes of this part of the story. It's amazing how Gipi captured that espeically with those to simple figures that look like a flick of the brush. you should check out the book its in english on kindle/comixology.
