DescriptionSeems like a good while since I posted a cover, and especially an Amazing Spider-Man cover.And this one is one of my faves, drawn by the great Gerardo Sandoval!! I have become such a huge fan of this amazing artist, and I am ALWAYS a fan of a huge image of Spidey, especially when he's swinging (in this case, gliding) around with a wonderful cityscape behind him. Sandoval did a really great job selling the illusion that the reader is hovering right there just a few feet from the action, recording it all!

I'm feeling legacy numbering these days so I'll say congrats on the ASM #918 Variant cover dude! this is a real bold and strong image of Spidey and great city backdrop as well. Makes me want to go look at more of Sandoval's art...lucky for me I'm on this website that offers me the opportunity to do just that right after leaving this comment. awesome cover, congrats Paul!

"Haven't posted a cover in a while!" I was thinking, finally, looks like Paul is done buying cool covers and his funds are all dried up!!! [Johnny does his happy dance] But, don't fret...here comes the nemesis on his Spider-Glider to take away my joy. Paul hasn't gone anywhere, he was just tuning up his glider.

Every once in a while, you just need to take a moment to tune up your glider. :-)

Cool seein' Spidey glidin'! That and the line work gives this one an edgy vibe which I dig. I like that thicker bordering line on the Spidey figure to make him pop that much more against the equally good city background. Congrats, man!
