Description

A hand painted Frank Haseler cover artwork produced in the 1970s (or earlier) for a magazine story 'Storm's End'. It's paint on thick artboard. It has an oil-like appearance but may be something else (gouache with varnish?)

Nice atmospheric piece from Haseler. It has the name of a serial - 'Storm's End part 2' - on the back but I have previously found that Haseler's work sometimes make appearances as book/magazine covers despite this labelling (or is published more than once).
