Description

Joe Messerli (attributed) Daffy Duck #89 Front Cover (Gold Key/Whitman, 1974). Daffy sits atop and idly kicks the punching bag, much to boxer Elmer Fudd, in this wacky comic book cover original art.,attributed inks to veteran Daffy comic book artist Joe Messerli (who most likely was the primary artist. The art is in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board, with an approximate image size of 9.25" x 12.25". The artwork is framed with a copy of the published comic book within a glass-front frame measuring 20.75" x 16.75". The frame has a few dings. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Art condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.
