Description

I made a last-minute decision at Baltimore Comicon to line up for Alan Davis. This wonderful sketch of the Golden Age Sandman proves it was the right decision! Alan only needed a bit of reference for the piece as he's drawn the character before. My thanks to Alan and to Paul and Larry, the gents who fairly managed his table.

The way Davis handles the shading on the mask and the flow of the cape is mighty fine and wholly satisfying to those looking for the mystery aspects of the character.
