DescriptionSometimes I just like a take on a character that is unconventional and different. DWJ did his own thing (as always) with this Punisher... ski mask with a skull logo, pouches for days, and an arm cannon that would make Cable and Bishop jealous. Even the van is badass. And no, this commission is not inked over blue (red) lines... that is the color of the pencil DWJ used before laying down his inks. 2015 commission 11x14" Social/Sharing |

Original take on the Punisher and you would expect nothing less from Ddubbs. He has wonderfully drawn Frank's van which you could argue serves as a prototype for the Murder Falcon design. You know Micro is in there, but Murf just might be as well :) Please stop by the shelter to claim your certificate.

Fantastic! The signature is great and while I love the figure, the vehicle is the star for me. Nice pick up!

1983 GMC Vandura! I love it when a van comes together!

Bingo! I'm guessing DWJ is a fan of the A-Team (but who isn't?). You can bet Frank's van is armored and tricked out beyond the wildest dreams of B.A. Baracus and the rest of the crew.

Oh oh. Looks like Microchip forgot to top the van up after his 2am pizza pop run.

Everything's great about this drawing, but to comment on things not previously remarked upon, I love how the dust/heat off the wheel tracks puff up around Castle's feet and the shine off the front of the van from what musts be the moon is so stark against the dark but clear star field. Even the sway and texture of the ground is so well handled

Talk about setting the scene! Where's he going? Definitely don't wanna be there...look at that BARREL he's holding?! Nice spin on ol' Frank here! Congrats!

Daryl, this is amazing. Congrats on this - and having DWJ do his own take on this was a huge win!
