Sal Velluto had a commission list for DragonCon 2023 and a friend who was attending the con picked this up for me. I'm not anywhere close to any of the cities that Mr. Velluto tends to convention at so I had to take this opportunity when it presented itself.

Christopher Priest's Black Panther is one of the greatest runs to come out of the Marvel Knights era and Sal Velluto played a huge role as the run's main penciller. His art and storytelling had to run the range between big action sequences, slick political theatre, and sometimes just straight up goofiness--and he did it admirably for 38 nearly back-to-back monthly issues.

(By the way, Priest's Black Panther run was finally collected in omnibus format in 2022, nearly 20 years after the run originally concluded. You should totally get both volumes if you haven't (or even if you have) read it already.)

Great piece! Always fun to see artists revisit their most famous runs to maybe prove they've improved since.
