Description

Between Justice League Detroit and Suicide Squad, Vixen became one of my favorite characters in the 80s. Her original costume was only in two published issues (but her imploded solo series #1).

I love this page. Swan and Anderson do a great job showing Vixen's strength (few female heroes mixed it up physically, even in the early 80s).

Her trademark animal overlay effect when she used her powers must have come in later as it wasn't used in this issue (did Chuck Patton add that visualization of her powers?).

I got this in a heritage auction. It was one of the few I couldn't bid in live. I set my maximum price and hoped for the best.

Really, really pleased to add this page to my collection.

Vixen is hot and the power of fourteen adolescent brains to make her any hotter will be too hot to handle. The Swanderson team providing great storytelling in this era!

Love the classic Vixen costume, along with the rarely used "KROOM" sound effect! Swan and Anderson were magic together!
