Yikes... WOW! This was the first issue (and splash) of ToD I ever read, so what can I say - this was what once got me hooked! Beautiful!

One of my very favorite issues of TOD Gene. I always loved this series & was hooked from #1. The inking by Tom Palmer & use of zip-a-tone was fantastic. Loved issue #50 with the Silver Surfer & Dracula's son Janus. I hope your doing much better Gene. Take care Jolt'in Joe saids Hello also!

I only discovered this post today which now makes me wonder if my wife didn’t purchase it either directly from Gene or his estate off of eBay? I’m guessing it was still in his personal collection when Colan was at Heroes 2005. There isn’t a day that goes by without me taking the time to appreciate this masterpiece upon my studio wall. The delicate inks are a wonder to behold.
