Description

While I like Godzilla, I wouldn't consider myself a true fan--but I picked up the first issue of this new series on a whim a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Fun story and cool art by Jake Smith: cartoony but very dense with a lot of rendering, kind of like a bunch of rubber Godzilla toys came to life. Happy to find a page from the first issue--that's Godzilla in the last panel, popping up to protect Minilla (from the 1967 movie Son of Godzilla--had to look that up!).
