I wonder if they had the story first or if Kaluta wanted to draw this and they wrote the story just for this amazing cover! It could have been a classic if colored correctly. Inception feel to the cityscape.

What a unique and wonderful cover! Like a previous commenter, I wouldn't have guessed it's by Kaluta. Frenetic action and nutty cubist skyline, but it really reads

Kaluta's covers for DC were consistently good during this period, but this one has to be one of the more unique and visually arresting images that he created. Cheers!

This has to be the wildest cover of the series, and really shows Kaluta's imagination for spatial distortion. That's a wonderful thing to own!

That is an amazing cover. Early Kaluta is totally inspiring. The mid to late 70's had some amazing young artists changed DC for a brief moment in time. Loved that era at DC.
