So, although this is not my favorite Luis Dominguez cover, I always enjoy something with a Lovecraftian flavor. This looks like a summer at the beach gone wrong.

Not a favourite of mine either, but as you mention, I love the idea of the little boy and girl who probably see each other once per year when their parents go up to a resort every summer and they become best friends, but with a horrific twist added in. So cool that it's the first issue cover, too.

Always makes it more wound with tension when the kids are in trouble! It's an issue one and will always be a memorable Dominguez cover for that alone.
