DescriptionAn audible noise was made when I opened this package up. Nir totally killed this commission! His abstract and unique style definitely worked with the subject and the end result is a jaw dropper. He perfectly captured the distorted environment that David Haller can create, and the design of Legion and Shadow King make them feel like completely original characters. The composition only enhances the distortion, which is something he is naturally good at. The line work and inks on the piece, especially Shadow King bring contrast in the best way possible. Nir's surrealist vision experiments with the comic artform to have dreamlike qualities in precision lines that connect with the subject matter of Legion and Shadow King in a way that hasn't been approached since Sienkieiwcz did it in the 80's. All those distorted proportions opens the mind to his ambiguous interpretations to plunge you deeper into the madness.

I wasn't sure I was seeing what I was seeing when I saw it, but I did see it, and I still can't entirely believe what I'm seeing, but I'm so thankful for everything that went into writing this weird sentence.

Eyes melting...just...TOO...good...
Man, T, this is some impressive stuff. Crazy mix of uniquely stylized illustration and detail, enhanced by the moving and swirling effect. Then the sheer amount of work that had to go into it, especially inking the bottom half. Whew. Big congrats, my friend!
