Description

Terry Moore had an interesting path to becoming the well-known and successful writer/arist of comic books like Strangers in Paradise, Rachel Rising, and many others. He was a musician and a video editor before taking his talents into self-published stories.

Along the way, he created several unsold comic strips because like most cartoonists, he wanted to be in the paper. His books Paradise, too and the recent, as of this writing, The Really Complete Paradise, Too printed some of those strips.

One of the strip concepts was an impish fairy named Kixie. She is a fairy with an attitude.

One of the perks from the Kickstarter campaign mentioned above was one of the strips. In my strip which dates to 2002, Kixie haunts the dreams of her cartoonist who strongly resembles Terry Moore. It made me laugh and I'm glad I got it as my perk.

That's a pretty ink line! It's shrunk down to strip size making the control of lineweights that much more important.

Congrats on getting one of these! I waited too long and missed out on the originals, but Terry showing off his cartoonist chops is always a treat.
