Description"Escape" Black Board ** Greg Hildebrandt. Published page in Greg Hildebrandt's book "Vamps, Tramps & Beauties" page 8. (c. 2013 Virtual Graphics) The 2013 book is a beautiful compilation of Greg Hildebrandt's early American Beauties black boards. Heavy Metal Cover recreation.Hildebrandt writes, "One of the first films I ever saw was with my dad in the late 1940s when I was eight or nine called "Nightmare Alley" with Tyrone Power. This was a dark film that impacted my life. It began my obsession with film noir and noir art. Greg loves creating GOTH-PULP and PINUP. Created by Greg Hildebrandt in April 2008. One of his very early black board pieces where he signed and also dated the month. Signed lower right. Board is 20" x 30" Mixed media on black board.
